Abstract
Suç, bireyler arasındaki pozitif etkileşime olumsuz etkileri olduğundan toplumda güven ve huzuru bozan bir olgu olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. İnsanları suça iten nedenlerin doğru bir şekilde analiz edilmeden alınan önlemlerin ise beklenilen düzeyde etkili olamadığı, Türkiye’de ve dünyada artan suç oranları ile açık bir şekilde görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada suç olgusu ile eğitim düzeyi arasındaki ilişkiye dikkat çekilmektedir. Suç ve eğitim ilişkisi, ulusal ve uluslar arası alanyazında yapılan araştırmalar ve Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) verileri temel alınarak ortaya konmuştur. Sonuç olarak suç ile eğitim düzeyi arasında negatif yönde bir ilişkinin bulunduğu ortaya çıkmaktadır.

Abstract
Crime is a phenomenon that disrupts trust and peace in society since it has negative effects on positive interaction between individuals. It is clearly seen with the increasing crime rates in Turkey and in the world that the measures taken without a correct analysis of the reasons that push people to crime are not effective at the expected level. In this study, the association between the phenomenon of crime and the level of education was discussed. The relationship between crime and education was examined on the basis of national and international studies in the literature and the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). As a result, it was revealed that there is a negative relationship between crime and education level.
