Okul Yöneticilerinin Algılarına Göre Okul Yöneticileri Mesleki Yeterliliklerinin İncelenmesi:Bir Nicel Çalışma

Abstract
Bu araştırmada, okul yöneticilerinin algılarına göre okul yöneticilerinin temel mesleki yeterliliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden, tarama modelinde olup, çalışma grubu 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılı ikinci döneminde, MEB’e bağlı İstanbul ili Avrapa yakası ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan yöneticiler (n=105) oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı, Google form uygulaması üzerinden hazırlanarak, katılımcılara gönderilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler Microsoft Excel programıyla sınıflandırılmış ve frekans yüzde, ortalama değerleri tablolaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, okul yöneticilerinin algı ve değerlendirmelerine göre, okul yöneticilerinin mesleki ve yöneticilik yeterliliklerinin “orta düzeyde” olduğunu göstermiştir. Okul yöneticileri karar alma, işbirliği, motivasyon, iletişim temalarında “orta düzeyde” yeterli görülürken; liyakat konusunda görüşler diğer temalara “düşük düzeyde” bulunmuştur.

Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to determine the basic professional competencies of school administrators according to the perceptions of school administrators. The research is one of the quantitative research methods, in the screening model, and the working group was formed by the administrators (n = 105) working in the primary schools, secondary schools and high schools in the European side of Istanbul, affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, in the second term of the 2019-2020 academic year. In the study, the data collection tool was prepared over the Google form application and sent to the participants. The data obtained were classified with Microsoft Excel program and the frequency percentage and average values were tabulated. The results of the research showed that, according to the perceptions and evaluations of school administrators, the professional and managerial competencies of school administrators are at a "medium level". School administrators are seen as "moderate" sufficient in decision making, cooperation, motivation, and communication themes; Views on merit were found to be "low" to other themes.
