FEN BİLİMLERİ ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN LABORATUVAR KULLANIMI VE GÜVENLİĞİ İLE İLGİLİ BİLGİ DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract
Çalışma kapsamında araştırmacılar tarafından ²Laboratuvar Kullanımı ve Güvenliği Bilgi Düzeyi Testi (LKGBDT)² geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen bilgi düzeyi testi, 2020-2021 Eğitim öğretim yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Mersin İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı Mersin ili ve ilçe ortaokullarında görev yapan fen bilimleri öğretmenlerine uygulanarak laboratuvar kullanımı ve güvenliği konusundaki bilgi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmada öğretmenin mezuniyet branşı, cinsiyeti, çalıştığı sektör, çalıştığı yerde laboratuvarın olup olmaması, laboratuvar eğitimi alıp almadığı ve öğrenim durumunun hazırlanan bilgi düzeyi testi üzerinde etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada yöntem olarak ²ilişkisel tarama (survey) modeli² kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak çalışma kapsamında geliştirilen ²LKGBDT² ile ²Kişisel Bilgi Formu² kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS paket programı ile yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin laboratuvar kullanımı ve güvenliği bilgi düzeylerinin orta seviyede olduğunu, bu bilgi düzeyini etkileyen demografik verilerden de laboratuvar olma durumu, çalıştıkları ilçe ve cinsiyet dışındaki parametreler bakımından katılımcıların aldıkları puanlar arasında istatistiksel bakımdan önemli bir ayrımın olmadığını göstermiştir.

Abstract
Within the scope of the study, the researchers developed the "Laboratory Use and Safety Knowledge Level Test (LKGBDT)". This was aimed at determining the knowledge level of laboratory use and safety by applying the developed test to science teachers working in Mersin province and district secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education Mersin Provincial Directorate of National Education in the 2020-2021 academic year. Additionally, the study investigated the effect of the teacher's graduation branch, gender, sector, whether there was a laboratory in the place where they worked, whether they had received laboratory training, and their educational status on the knowledge level test prepared. The "relational survey model" was used as the method in the research. "LKGBDT" and "Personal Information Form" were used as the data collection tools. Data analysis was done using the SPSS package program. The results showed that the science teachers' knowledge level of laboratory use and safety was at a moderate level, and that there was no statistically significant difference between the scores of the participants in terms of parameters other than the demographic data that affects this level of knowledge, such as having a laboratory, the district where they worked, and gender.
