Abstract

Uzman görüşleri ışığında düzenlenen ve 30 maddeden oluşan 5’li likert tipi ölçeğin nihai deneme formu 80’i kadın, 91’i erkek toplam 171 fen bilimleri öğretmenine uygulanmıştır. Açımlayıcı faktör Analizinin(AFA) temel sayıtlıları sınanmış, “olumlu tutum” ve “olumsuz tutum” isimli 2 faktörlü yapı elde edilmiştir. Fen Bilimleri Derslerinde Simülasyon Kullanımına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği’nin ölçüt geçerliliğine ilişkin kanıtlar sunulmuştur. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliliğini kanıtlamak için Fen Bilimleri Derslerinde Simülasyon Kullanımına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği 63 fen bilimleri öğretmenine uygulanmış yanıtlar arasında cinsiyet açısından anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Ölçekten elde edilen  Cronbach Alpha iç tutarlık katsayısı .89 olarak bulunmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular, geliştirilen bu ölçeğin fen bilimleri öğretmenlerinin derste simülasyon kullanımına yönelik tutumlarını açığa çıkarmak amacıyla kullanılmaya uygun geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu göstermiştir.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a scale that will reveal science teachers' attitudes towards the use of simulation in the lesson. For this purpose, after reviewing the literature, 28 candidate items were written. In addition to these items, the items written in the light of the information obtained from the science teachers, the group to which the scale will be applied, were added to the item pool and the number of items was increased to 52. 52 possible items planned to be used in the scale were presented to 8 experts with an expert evaluation form. Considering expert opinions, content validity index was calculated using Davis technique for each item. The final trial form of the 5-point Likert-type scale, which was organized in the light of expert opinions and consisting of 30 items, was applied to a total of 171 science teachers, 80 of whom were female and 91 were male. The basic premises of the Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA) were tested, and a 2-factor structure named "positive attitude" and "negative attitude" was obtained. Evidence regarding the criterion validity of the "Attitude Scale Towards the Use of Simulation in Science Lessons" is presented. In order to prove the construct validity of the scale, the "Attitude Scale for the Use of Simulation in Science Lessons" was applied to 63 science teachers, it was examined whether there was a significant difference in terms of gender among the answers. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient obtained from the scale was found to be .89. The findings obtained showed that this developed scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool suitable for use in order to reveal science teachers' attitudes towards the use of simulation in the lesson.
